Names entered in Love Tester
Nicknames are processed inside the current page in your browser. The game code and our custom analytics events do not send those inputs to a server, put them in the URL, or save them in cookies or browser storage. Resetting the game or leaving the page clears the in-memory inputs.
Recently opened games
The site stores a short list of game identifiers in localStorage so you can revisit games on the same browser. The list contains no names entered into Love Tester and is not sent to us. You can clear it on the Recently Opened page or in your browser settings. If storage is blocked, the games still work.
Third-party games
External games load only after you press Play game. At that point, the selected provider receives normal browser requests and may use cookies, advertising, analytics, or other services under its own policies. Those providers control their game code and advertisements. Our original Love Tester does not load an external game provider.
YouTube videos
Video previews use our local artwork. YouTube receives no request from a preview until you press its play button or follow the video link. Embedded videos use youtube-nocookie.com. Once played, YouTube can process information according to its policies; this mode is not a promise of zero tracking.
Hosting and site analytics
The production website uses Google Analytics 4 (G-CD0RE4Y1SQ) to understand page visits and interactions such as opening a game, completing a playful test, changing a filter, or choosing a video. Google may set analytics cookies and process browser, device, and request information. Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in our tag configuration. The website hosting service may also process ordinary request logs to deliver and secure the site.
Our custom event parameters use a fixed list of game identifiers, interface languages, action labels, and counts. They do not include nicknames, test scores, raw search terms, form contents, account identifiers, or the locally saved list of recent games. The page addresses we explicitly send omit query strings and fragments; referral addresses are reduced to their origin. Third-party scripts and Google account settings remain subject to their own behavior and policies.
The site analytics tag is not loaded on development or preview hosts, or when your browser exposes a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Browser blocking tools may also prevent analytics from loading; game controls continue to work. External game providers and YouTube have their own separate policies.
